Edge finished the F-982E access plate with file and scotchbrite. Will drill holes for throttle and mixture later. Removed plastic from F-782 cover and edge finished all around with emory cloth, files and scotchbrite. Marked centerlines on the F-982D heat baffle, clamped in place and drilled to #40. Cleco'd as I drilled. Remove baffle and deburred all holes. Drilled nutplate and screw holes to full size and deburred. Scuffed parts with scotchbrite and dimpled with the squeezer. Used wood blocks clamped on the cover to bend the louvers. Had to start at outside and work to center to bend these by hand. Washed all parts in Dawn dish soap and warm water, then set out to air dry.
