Did the same trial and error fitting as on the left side until bends were correct and the part fit well between the firewall brackets. Pulled back the skin to mark edge distance on the firewall bracket. The extra 1/16 on the drilled holes made it much easier to meet all the edge distances for theWd-603 firewall brackets, firewall angle, and the 1/8 setback. Clamped in place and match drilled the firewall angle and one hole in bracket. Closed skin and match drilled remaining holes in bracket.
Edge finished both F-902 bulkheads with files, emory paper, and scotchbrite. Test fit both to the fuselage. Tweaked the tabs on the top and bottom to improve fit and hole alignment. Removed 902s and used the step drill to open the tooling hole for the rudder cable. Used a dremel sander to make a small recess on the aft flange of the 902s to ensure cable clearance. Cleco'd in the 902s.
