Brief Description: Adjust Longerons, Second Conical Bend
Moved supports under fuselage to allow removal of left longeron. Removed side skin and longeron. Checked marking with plans, drilled radius hole starting with #40 and moving up to 1/4 inch, and trimmed end of longeron with dremel. Cleaned up cuts with files, emory cloth, and scotchbrite. Adjusted bends in longeron to match plans as close as possible. Reinstalled longeron and side skin, found end of longeron was now 1/16 below skin edge, well within 1/4 inch tolerance.
Moved blocking and removed right side skin. Performed the conical bend as with left side. This one went much quicker than the first one. No cracking on this side either. Adjusted supports to remove right longeron. Removed longeron and checked against plans, adjusted as required. Made cuts at the end of longeron as per plans and described above. Reinstalled longeron and checked fit with skin. This side matched edge almost exactly.
Added clecos and moved supports to prepare for drilling the longerons to the skin.
