The blue plastic on the inside of the aileron skin had separated from the skin quite a bit already, so I removed it entirely. The plastic on the stiffeners left a sticky residue when removed so I wiped down all the stiffeners and the inside of the aileron skin with MEK. This removed all the adhesive residue from the parts. I used the soldering iron and ruler to remove the blue plastic on the outside of the skin around the rivet holes. Started to edge finish the skin with files and edge deburring tool.
