Brief Description: Prep Left Wing Flap Brace and Aileron Gap Seal
I removed the bottom skins, deburred all the holes, and dimpled the skins with the squeezer. Put the skins back into storage and de-burred all the holes on the flap brace and aileron gap seal. I set up the countersink .007 deeper than flush and built a rig on the bench to hold the flap brace while I countersunk it for the skin dimples. I used a couple of blocks from a garden edging project that were the right height and match drilled them to the brace then cleco'd the brace on and clamped the wood to the bench. Made a nice steady work platform for the countersinking. Scuffed the brace and gap seal with scotchbrite then washed and set aside to dry. While they were drying I removed plastic from the aileron skin. Primed the gap seal and flap bracket with NAPA 7220.
