Brief Description:  Install T-708 and Fuel Level Sender Left Tank

Re-scuffed and washed the T-708 and fuel level sender. Used MEK to wash all the screws and washers as well as wiped down the mating surface on the tank. Mixed 30 grams of sealant and used plastic knife to spread a thin layer on the tank rib and the mating area of the T-708, took special care to force some sealant into the tooling hole. Used a couple of clecos to align the cover and hold it in place as I twirled cap head screws in sealant and inserted them with thin washers, Tightened each screw as much as I could by hand. On one screw I used an internal tooth star washer in place of the flat washer to help with grounding the plate to the tank. Tightened all screws in a cross pattern until sealant bulged out the edges of the plate.

I installed the fuel level sender using the same procedure. Put some sealant on the float arm to lock it into the sender, also used a star washer on one screw. Continuity checked good between sender and T-708, T-708 and tank, and sender to tank. Also got a proper resistance reading for empty.
