Used a spring tubing bender to straighten 1/4 inch aluminum tubing for vent line. Measured length on tank, cut with tubing cutter and dressed ends with scotchbrite and emory paper. Also cut off a small section as practice piece for flaring. Dressed ends of practice piece and made good flares on both ends. Made a good flare on end of vent line, slid on collar and b-nut, then bent tubing. Used template I made for right tank flare line. Test fit line was good.
Countersunk the rivet holes in T-708 for nutplates. Used the squeezer to set rivets on nutplates. Had one bad rivet that I drilled and removed. Second attempt was good.
