I used the scotchbrite wheel to make small notches in the T-405 bracket to clear the shop heads of the rivets around the nose of the tank. Made marks with sharpie to start, then proceeded to slowly adjust the notches using the corner of the wheel to provide just enough clearance for the rivets. Turned attention to the T-410s which will be riveted inside the tank. The fillets I made in the tank sealant with the end of a popsicle stick left a fairly large radius. The T-410s had been fit to the nose of the tank when dry, so they rode up on the fillets and did not sit flush to the rib. Used a combination of scotchbrite wheel on dremel and hand sanding to get T-410s to fit better. Still not 100% satisfied with fit, so will continue to work these before riveting.
