Snow day! We had 6 inches of snow last night so we have a day off from work. The bad news is I had to shovel it, so I didn't get as much time in the shop as I had hoped.
The next step in the Wirejock method is to cleco the tank together. I got the ribs out of storage, studied the plans and sorted the ribs for the right and left tank. I began by edge finishing the large areas on the ribs with the scotchbrite wheel. I made several passes across the nose of each rib to smooth all the small flanges. Next phase was deburring all the holes in the ribs. I also deburred/edge fininshed all the cut outs around the nose of the rib and in the corners with files, emory cloth and scotchbrite.
