Worked one hour on 11 Aug by myself on the W-707D reinforcing plates. Did the layout for the first plate to cut as depicted in the plans. Cut it on the band saw and edge finished with the vixen file, flat file, and scotch brite wheel. Got one plate done and the second one marked for cutting.
On 12 Aug Jason came out to help and we worked for 1.5 hours. He worked on edge finishing while I did layout and cutting for the W-707D and W-707G reinforcing plates. We decided to make left and right wing pairs with the D and G plates. We finished the D's then cleco'd them together with a G and finished the G to match the D. Got one pair done and one 707G roughed in. I worked on left spar edge finishing while Jason tackled the plates.
