Continued elevator work by making the stifferners for the left side elevator. Working alone these took about twice as long as the right side. Interpretation of the plans to cut these to length took a little extra time. I finally had the "Aha!" moment when I realized the plans depiction for the length showed a hole in the stiffener that was not drilled yet. Once I knew where to measure from, things made much more sense. I marked all the parts, used straight cut aviation shears to cut the sections apart, and finished cuts on the band saw. Edge finished with files and final work was done on scotchbrite wheel. Once all the stiffeners were completed, I cut the blue plastic around the rivet lines for the left elevator.
