Made a rod-end bearing tool from 1/2 inch PVC pipe as seen on VAF website. Set the initial spacing on the three rudder rod end bearings and put the rudder up in temporary storage. Jason and I moved on to making the right elevator stiffeners. We marked all the parts for the cuts as specified in the plans and cut them apart with a dremel cutoff wheel. I trimmed to final size on the band saw and Jason worked on rounding corners and edge finishing. Once all the parts were cut I finished the edges on the scotchbrite wheel.
