Brief Description: Firing up the GRT EFIS & EM Sensors
Today was very productive, I finished the wiring to the EFIS and almost have the engine monitor sensor wiring complete. All that is lacking there is the fuel tank level sensor wirings. I even have the trim indicators working, but I forgot to take a picture, next time in the hanger I do that. This was a good day because everything now has power to it and can be programmed. As you can tell by looking at the EFIS screen, it is still a blank slate and everything is a little cockeyed. This will all get fixed soon with programming, I hope! I decided to mount the GRT using plate nuts, so I took an hour to install them. This will allow removal of the the EFIS without messing with nuts on the back side. It would literally take less than five minute to remove the EFIS now, pull 4 screw, disconnect the GPS and main connector and the quick connect static and pitot tubes and pull it out. I have to resolve some interference behind the panel between connector shell of the EFIS and the small connector shell on the ARIC module which I think I can do just by changing the connector shell.
