The radio stack mounting required a few phone calls and careful planning. I talked to Paul a Steinair and he recommended supporting the SL 30, because of its length at the sub-panel. I tied the radios together at the rear using the tray holes that are for mounting and then fabricated some attach brackets and a cross angle support under the SL 30 Nav/Comm. This made the assembly very ridged and added the benefit of reducing pressure on the front radio stack mounting angles.
