This is the alternate air control cable for the fuel injection induction box. This is one of those things you really must have if you fly into instrument conditions. If there is any chance of icing this can save your bacon and give the engine another source of air. I did not want it on the main panel, but it needed to be close to the throttle to make me happy. This is easy to reach, yet not in the way. I made up the bracket from some āZā extrusion and .063 aluminum sheet. It attaches using one of the panel fasteners and I added a second platenut for an AN3 bolt. I will change this out with a pan head AN3 on my next order to Aircraft Spruce.
