Brief Description:  Putting a smooth fillet in the Sika/frame joint

I wanted to have better fillets in the canopy frame after removing the spacers and decided to buy and use some Sika Slick tooling lube to give it a try. This is made by Sika to help with smoothing the goo and also for cutting it out for removal. It does help some and the fillets look much better, but still not they way I imagined in my mind. If I had to do this part over I would have powder coated the frame satin black , tape it off very carefully and used small non removable spacers like they do when the bond auto windshields. The results and very strong, but the beauty is just not what I wanted. Since Sika black satin primer is compatible, I make come back and do some touchup sanding and spray on a final finish of thinned Sika primer. I will make a test piece first to see if it helps the appearance.
