Brief Description:  Mixture control

Today I started working on the mixture control and the related brackets and bell crank. There is not a lot of room to work with and the fuel line still needs to go through this space. The fuel line must be routed and a support bracket for the line will be made. The mixture control works very well in this position, I just need to route the fuel line so it does not get too close to the exhaust pipes. It is well supported and does not interfere with the mixture control cable movement. Stay tuned, I hope to get this done next visit to the shop.
Of note, I had to bend the bracket to move the cable position down and in line with the bell crank. Also, the bell crank needed a little more twist and a spacer to get the cable travel straight. This is working really well, now it is just the fuel line to worry about.
The pictures do not show the final installation, all the nuts and stuff are just put on by hand for now. I need to remove the panel for final painting and these cables can’t go in permanently until the panel is done.
