I started mounting stuff to the panel frame which I painted on Saturday. The paint job came out better than I had hoped with a nice finish and deep gloss. I was not very happy with the GRT front panel, I think it looks cheap, but I’m told I am too much of a perfectionist. I taped the case and front and the hand sanded the edge of the faceplate with 400 grit. After a buff with the ScotchBrite wheel and painted the edge with some flat black paint. It looks better, but it still looks cheap. I hope the EFIS has a better frame on it.
