Today I picked up my brake pedals from the powder coating contractor and they turned out really nice. I don't know how well the will hold up, but it is better then paint I'm sure. They match the Matco master brake cylinders very well and should look great with the dark charcoal I have picked for the rudder pedals. I have to redo the powder coat on the rudder pedals because I will be welding on horns for the push-pull system.
I also had time to install the elevator bell crank and the TruTrak servo mount today. This required a few bushings, which I turned on the lath, and drilling out 4 rivets where the TT mounting plate butts up to the bell crank rib. I didn’t have time to crawl under the fuselage to rivet the bottom of the TruTrak flange to the fuselage, I’ll do that next week.
