Brief Description:  Fuselage fuel vent fitting

The fuel vent has to be plumbed through the fuselage and this is the fitting that does it. There is also another one further aft for the fuel pick up line. Van locates the hole for you with a pilot, but it must be opened to 7/16" for the fitting. You also have to finish off the 1/8" round bulkhead support washers; otherwise the skin alone would end up supporting the fitting and line. In addition, since the Pro-seal had thoroughly set, I finished off the static line plumbing to the two fuselage vents. Next step will be to route the line forward, but that will be another day, after I paint the interior and figure it all out behind the panel. Nothing will change back here, so I’m safe finishing this and this will allow me to rivet on the skin once I finish wiring.
