Brief Description:  Building upper forward fuselage

I’m going to be spending some quality time in this section of the airplane. Let’s face it; the instrument panel is where you spend much of your time looking while flying. To make things a little more exciting, it is hard to design it planning on specific equipment because the new glass cockpits are changing by the day. It is kind of like computers, you want the latest and greatest when you buy, so you almost have to wait until the last minute just to stay “sort of current”.

At any rate, I am trying to make this area accommodating to any of the main stream EFIS systems, like Dynon, GRT, and AFS. I cut some large access hole in the second bulkhead on the left for GRT and their magnometer. I will have a couple of hinged drop down panels and use a three piece panel because I have a slider, and you need all the access you can get.

With a little luck, I will be able to prime these parts and seat parts on Monday and get some assembly done.
