Rafael helped me rivet the bottom wing skins in place today and they turned out great. It feels really good to have the wings done, in fact the only real riveting left is the forward fuselage skin over the instrument panel and I won’t do that one until the instruments and wiring are complete. It will look like slow progress on the plane for the foreseeable future, because wiring takes time and doesn’t change the looks of the plane. Sooooooo, for those of you following the log, it will be slow visual progress for some time, but wiring and fiberglass work is part of the build. Also, at the end of January I will be moving to my own hanger at the Barnwell SC airport. It will be nice to have my own shop/hanger and the for those of you living in the big city, my rent is a $100 bucks a month and that includes electric. I just love South Carolina, it is cheap beautiful, historic and warm.
