Brief Description:  Left elevator trim tab

Today I spent all day working of the left elevator trim tab. There is nothing particularly difficult, but it just take time. I was going non stop for 8 hours on this little beauty, it was full but there are a lot of things to do:

1) Seam and squeeze the trailing edge of the tad until it is perfect and lays flat
2) Build and clean up all the little parts, like the horn for the servo attachment
3) Bend both ends of the tab until they are right; fiddle and hand work it until you like it (2hrs)
4) Install on the elevator after making sure it is perfectly fined up and your trailing edge is straight across
5) Clean up the parts
6) Mess with it some more until it all plays together.
7) Take it all apart for dimpling and priming

Boom 8 hours gone- but it was challenging and fun. I'm almost ready to call victory on the empennage, last big thing is the fiberglass tip installation and filling in the elevator counter balance tips and closing off the HS and Rudder tip. Since I don't know shit about glassing, I'm sure that this will take some time because e of the learning curve of working with glass. God, the next plane will go like greased lighting as long as its another aluminum plane from Vans
