Brief Description: Installing the Classic Aero Interior
While installing the beautiful Classic Aero interior I hit my first problem. The left side fit perfectly and the right side came up ½” short. Surely my plane can’t be ½” shorter on the right side, can it? While after a few measurements, the culprit was the right side baggage panel was ½” too short. I called Classic Aero and they said “although we don’t know how this happened because they are laser cut, they will gladly replace it”. So I will have to wait a few weeks for the new panel, the rest of the panels when it great. I will add more pictures when completed. One word of warning, it would be a lot easier to trim back the upper skin brace on sliders while building, not after the fact if you are using this interior. I also think some more Velcro in a few areas is required and added it as necessary. Last, if you remove a panel for maintenance, reach you hand behind the panel and separate the Velcro, rather than try to yank them off from the front.
