Brief Description:  Fitting the Upolstery and Side Panels

I started the interior installation because I’m ready to put on the final instrument panel skin and it will make it much more difficult to put the mounting brackets in place in the forward section of the plane. The Classic Aero interior is really nice quality and straight forward to mount. They use rivnuts to hold the side panels in place and after putting the first one in; I’m a fan for using them on non-critical parts like this. I do think the side panels need one more fastener at the spar bulkhead and plan to use one there, but will call them first. I also want to talk to them about putting the aileron push tube seal on the outside of the fuselage vs. the inside, I have seen it there on other planes and I think it makes more sense. More on this next week.
