Brief Description: Installing the Transponder Antenna
I mounted the transponder antenna in a similar fashion to the comm. Antenna. No platenuts are necessary, just an 2” diameter .063 doubler plate and a ½” hole does the trick. The antenna nut holds it all in place, with a gasket on the exterior side to keep it water tight.
