The alternate air door is a great safety item in any plane and this door does the trick in an RV with a horizontal induction system. This is part of the firewall forward kit for the IO 360 M1B. Today I cut the hole in the induction box and used epoxy/glass fiber mix to fair it into the box. Next time in the shop I will add the rivets and door, and it done.
