I got the EFIS panel back from powder coating and had to see how it was going to look. Well, I think it is going to look great when it is all together. The laser etching for the switch labels is pretty cool, although I hoped for a little more contrast. I think it will be fine, but I’ll have to try it in the dark with the LED panel lightning. I mounted the backup airspeed and altimeter and they fit perfectly. The trick with powder coating is to make the holes and countersinking larger and deeper to compensate for the thickness of the coating or stuff just won’t fit.
