Brief Description:  Adding heat shielding to the cowl

I added heat shield to the cowl in all the areas where the exhaust pipes come in close proximity of the cowl. This is basically very thick foil with high temperature adhesive backing to hold it in place. Rafael and many other builders have experienced both discoloring and epoxy break down in their RV cowls in areas where the exhaust pipes are within 1-2 inches of the cowl. The current recommendation is to add the heat reflective shield to those areas and this will prevent most of these issues and seem to be the new standard for protecting the cowl properly.
