The CROSS-MEMBER 1" tube that is the attach-point for the rotor mast was discovered to be just a little bit off. To be precise, the smaller dia tubes that it is attached to, the cockpit front corner-posts, were not perfectly centered on the tube. Really labor-intensive to do right since they are angled, and checking for level and squareness is just not enough. So I ground the tacks off one side and used a teeny file to get between tubes to get the fit required. Retacked.
