Brief Description:  Taped Canopy to Fuse to Mark Cut Line

Pete stopped by tonight and so I took advantage of the help to lift the canopy from the sawhorses and place it on the fuse. We lined up the canopy centerline with the fuselage centerline and taped the canopy tightly to the forward and aft top skins and sides. We then marked the cut line along the center of the canopy bow. I called Joe and asked if he could come over on Saturday morning to check our work and supervise the "big cut." I am going to spend the rest of the week making a list of a thousand questions to ask him when he gets here. Hopefully, I can talk Pete into coming back on Saturday as well. Prior to Pete coming over tonight, I spoke with Jed of Stein Air by phone. He added the "elephant ears" with headphone jacks to the panel design and sent the revision to me. I think it looks great and gave him the go ahead to cut the panel. The next step is to speak with Danny to finalize the hydrodip and engraving. I also ordered my glareshield trim and cover from Classic Aero today. Things are moving forward!
