Brief Description:  C-704 Splice Plate, Aft Canopy Frame Bow

I installed the other two screws in the passenger side of the frame at the rear of the cockpit. I got "smart" and ran a piece of safety wire through the hole and then through the washer and nut to help guide it into place until I could get a finger on it. I could then look through the screw hole from the outside and adjust the washer and nut so that it lined up perfectly with the hole. Much easier than yesterday's debacle with the needle nose pliers. I need to torque the upper most nuts on both sides as I could not get a socket on them. I need a "mid-sized" deepwell socket, I think. I marked out and drilled the holes on the C-704 Splice Plate and then adjusted the aft canopy frame bow to 92.5 degrees. I began to flute them, but it did not seem to be having the correct effect and I need to get ready for work. I'll try again later.
