The finish kit with the ala carte firewall forward components I selected arrived today. Ginger was home to pay the trucking company and they placed the crate in the garage for her. The arrival was not without drama, however. Ginger went out to the garage to meet the shippers without her keys. One of our dogs has learned to jump up on the door and lock the deadbolt. Fortunately, the shipping crew helped her "break into" our house.
I pulled the top off the crate when I got home and began removing the copious amounts of packing paper. I removed the extra aluminum sheet I ordered and the wheel pants but that was about as far as I got on the inventory. I need room to put the canopy and cowling to uncover the other parts. I really need to get cracking on riveting the fuselage!
