Got a late start today. Once I made it to the garage, I decided to install the rudder cable fairings. I had previously trimmed a pair to size and drilled the holes. Sometime in the past, I had forgotten that I had a pair of fairings and got a second pair. Today, I decided that I did not like the rivet hole placement in the first fairings so I trimmed the second pair to size and drilled the holes again. I sealed and riveted the fairings to the fuselage and then moved back to the ADAHRS shelf. I drilled the holes in the shelf for the #10 fasteners and then riveted the shelf to the fuselage stringers. I installed three of the four AN3-7A bolts attaching the elevators to the horizontal stab but number four was being difficult so I moved on to the rudder stops. I remember from other build logs that the dimensions on the plans don't work to give the 35 degree rudder swing so I called it a day to do some research. I purchased an internal rudder stop from Flyboy Accessories when I bought the Rocket Link. I wish I had remembered to install it before I hung the rudder yesterday. I couldn't bring myself to remove the rudder again just yet.
