Brief Description:  Floorboards, Static Lines, Copilot Stick SB

I spent five hours in the garage but at least half of that time was staring at the plane wondering how to accomplish everything that needs to be done. I drilled the copilot stick for the AN-13A bolt to comply with SB 07-2-6. I didn't torque the nut because the stick will need to come out to trim it to length for the Tosten CS-8 grip. Obviously, the pilot stick won't come out to be trimmed, but I figured it would be easier (and cheaper if I needed to replace it) to trim the copilot stick first. At this point, I experienced paralysis by analysis while researching how much to trim, e.g. Cut the length of the grip! Van says not to cut the stick! Yadda, yadda, yadda. I moved on to cutting floorboards from the aluminum sheet I purchased at Sun N Fun. I got it cut to rough size and then found it did not slide under the angle on the fuselage side like I thought it would. More paralyzing analysis. I threw the remaining wiring for the strobe lights into the rear of the fuselage and then dug out my Safeair static line. I started running the line through the fuse and realized that my connectors to the ADAHRS are 90 degree elbows and I think I would prefer straight in connections. Time to add to my "need to purchase list." I quit working in the garage and went back into the house to work on labeling some more wiring.
