I cut some aluminum tubing from what I hope was scrap to use as bushings for the AN5 bolts used in the 5th point seatbelt attachments. I drilled it out to size and bolted the belts to the brackets. It was a pain in the rear to get the brackets riveted into place. I stopped for lunch and then went back out to the garage and messed around with the canopy frame/skin again. I bent the sides of the skin downward slightly and tried the fit again but really did not see any improvement. I moved on to the fuel injection pump installation. I cut some tubing and began bending. I am not thrilled with the result, but I think the first tube will suffice. I cut and bent a second tube but got frustrated trying to slide one of the fittings far enough down the tube to flare the end so I called it a day.
