Brief Description:  More Cabin Frame

I worked 24 hours straight last Monday and it has taken me all week to recover. Yesterday, I went to our EAA Chapter meeting. Sport Performance Aviation is based at our airpark and they had the prototype Panther there along with Bob Wooley's Panther build and Paul Salter's Panther build. Paul has the empennage, fuse and wings mounted in about 400 hours of build time. The Panther is a great kit. After the meeting, we went to see Planes 2 with Pete and Kecia. I didn't get anything done on the plane but it was more than worth it. This morning, I deburred, countersunk and edge finished the cabin frame. I primed the parts along with the pieces I've had sitting around the garage until the next priming session (top skins, the flap covers, floor covers, etc.). I riveted the cabin frame together and fit, drilled and riveted the F-631 Angles together. I drilled them to the fuselage, bolted them on, and filed the outside of the brackets to match the countour of the fuse skin. I set the cabin frame in place and clecoed the aft end of the F-732A Channel and F-732F Spacer to the F-774 Skin (which I had just clecoed back to the fuse structure after priming). I need to trim and radius the aft lower and outboard edges of the F-631 sub-assembly to nest in the radius of the angles. I think I will place an order with Aircraft Spruce tonight. I will get the taillight, some caps for the AN fittings, a battery for the ELT in the Cessna, a #29 drill bit to finish this cabin frame, some grease for the wheel bearings and one of those handy dandy wheel bearing packer thing-a-ma-jigs. I ordered a tailwheel assembly from JD Air last week but it is out of stock. My VPX-Pro, Wiring Harness and Crow seatbelts all came in last week. Slowly, but surely, it is all coming together.
