I clamped the brake pedals to a strip of aluminum to keep them aligned. I then used a 3/16" bit from my angle drill to mark the hole location through the master cylinders. I swung the master cylinders out of the way and drilled the holes to #12. I haven't torqued the nuts or installed the cotter pins yet as I want to have Joe or Bob check it over at our EAA meeting this Saturday. The pedals seemed a little tight prior to being bolted to the cylinders. I am not sure if that matters since the cylinders provide resistance anyway.
I began disassembling the fuselage and edge finishing, deburring and dimpling the parts. I think that will consume most of my work sessions in the upcoming days. I will be glad to have it all primed and ready to install for good. The biggest challenge appears to be keeping everything in order and being able to find it. I have two piles-one for the left side pieces and one for the right!
