Brief Description:  F-638 Seatback Brace Mulligan

My replacement F-638 Seatback Brace arrived yesterday via US Mail. Amazingly, shipping was about $3, not the $10 UPS usually charges, and it got here in less time than UPS. I opened the box yesterday, but didn't do any work on the plane. Thursday night, we had towed the RV down to the airpark and set it up next to the hangar. Last night, we had a big dinner in Tom Dorsey's hangar with a bunch of folks from the airpark. We then went over to Pat Lee's hangar for the first of what will be monthly movies. Pat has installed a 12' x 8' screen and projection system in his hangar, We all brought chairs, and Pat had his popcorn machine and snacks ready for a showing of the The Great Waldo Pepper. He had quite the turnout from the airpark and we had a blast! We can't wait for next month's movie. I managed to get into the garage for a few minutes this afternoon and drill the lightening holes in the new F-638. I managed to trim BOTH edges in the correct direction this time and got everything smoothed and drilled to the hinge. I think the seats are now ready for priming. I hope to get a few hours of work done on the plane tomorrow.
