Brief Description:  More Center Fuselage Assembly Construction

Most of tonight was spent looking for the AS3-032 to construct the F-623A attach strips. I found a six inch wide sheet that was (I forget how) long, but I was scared to cut it as it may be used for something else later down the line and I didn't want to replace it. A quick search of VAF Forums revealed two posts, one of which said to cut them from scrap. This started a (slightly) shorter search which resulted in finding some scrap, marking out the pieces, and cutting them on the bandsaw. I next clecoed the seat and baggage ribs to the bulkheads. Fitting the small spacers was a challenge but I got them done.

I ordered the spar spacers from Bullerent.com. I figured by the time I found the wood, sized it and drilled the holes, I was better off timewise just purchasing high quality spacers from him. After measuring my spars, I found that they were thicker than the spacer size in the plans, so I ordered the largest sized spacers.
