Brief Description:  Left Leading Edge Landing Light

I used the Dremel tool and a cut-off wheel to cut the opening in the left wing leading edge. I cut close to the line and then used a combination of files, a Scotchbrite wheel, and emery cloth to smooth the edges. The picture was taken before the final smoothing and shows the hole in the right, leading edge. I drilled the holes in the leading edge using the reinforcement plates as a guide and countersunk the platenut holes in the plates for "oops" rivets for the nutplates. Next up is to prime everything and install the platenuts on the reinforcements and mounting brackets. I also need to cut the plexiglass lenses but I will wait until warmer weather for that. My order from Stein should be in tomorrow and I can begin to finish up the tanks after our EAA 193 Officer's Meeting.
