Brief Description:  Elevator Trim Servo

I started rolling the leading edge of the right elevator but after five minutes I decided to work on the elevator trim servo installation. I recalled from reading various builder logs that following Van's plans would result in the servo being installed off center. I clecoed the servo to the brackets, clamped it 3/8" from the leading edge of E-616PP to the leading edge of EET-602-B-L and then centered it using a rule. Another issue I had read about was the aft two rivets hitting the servo. Some people have used washers to fix the problem but Brad Oliver figured out that if he dimpled the two forward holes on each side and countersunk the aft hole on either side and used a NAS1097AD3-3.5 the problem could be avoided. I followed his lead and it worked great. I primed the parts and assembled the pieces. I still need to trim some of the nutplates on the reinforcing plate on the elevator to allow for "drop in" installation.
