Pete stopped by and we cut three doublers that will get riveted to the fuselage for the Comm, Xpndr, and ADSB antennas. I cut the doublers from some aluminum sheet I had originally purchased to construct openings in the forward fuse top skin. I have since scrapped that idea and therefore the sheet was available for other, more pertinent uses. As I cut the doublers, Pete marked and drilled the rivet holes. I will have to put the fuse on gear before we are able to rivet the doublers in place as the Xpndr and Comm antenna locations are over the solid plywood top portion of the fuselage cart. Pete and I discussed the wiring runs for the strobes and our plan for getting the wiring run through the aft portion of the fuselage so we can rivet the top skins.
