Brief Description:  Lower Rudder Cap

I read a lot of Mike Bullock's build log today and watched the talking heads on TV pontificate on how horrendous the hurricane is going to be. I finally made it out to the garage with the idea that I would get the lower rudder cap fit. My fiberglass cap had a faint line in the shape of a finished cap. I took some measurements and found that if I cut along the line on the cap, it should work out well. I traced the line with my blue Sharpie and broke out the respirator and Rotozip. I couldn't slide the cap into place with the rudder mounted, so I unbolted the rudder. fit the cap, and hung the rudder again using my Avery hinge pins. I need to do some more research on how much clearance I need between the cap and the tailspring as right now as it is pretty close. Sanding the cut lines should result in slightly more clearance.
