Brief Description:  Empennage Fairing

I had difficulty focusing on building the plane today and did not get a heck of a lot done. I stalled for awhile by clecoing the upper skins in place. I then began working on the empennage fairing. I marked a cut line to give a minimum .25" clearance between the fairing and the elevator arms. I trimmed the fairing to size and clecoed it in place. I then went inside to check some build logs about cutting the lower rudder fiberglass cap. I got distracted reading one particular build website and lost the rest of the day. I still didn't get around to the part of the build involving the rudder cap. I got feedback on my proposed panel from Stein Air from some friends including Pat and Joe. The only suggestion I recieved was to move to the Purge knob. Joe also made this recommendation so Jed at Stein did a second revision of the panel. Assuming our home is still standing after Hurricane Irma this weekend, I plan to ask Jed to proceed with the panel as it is now designed.
