Brief Description:  Mounting EMS and MAP Sensor

I purchased some 1/4"ID tubing from Home Depot and some hose clamps this morning. I will use this on the manifold pressure sensor and transducer. UPS is to deliver my 48 tab ground plate today so while I was awaiting its arrival, I decided to mount the EMS I just received. I moved it as far aft and outboard as I could without running into a conflict with the subpanel rib or the brace I riveted to the mounting tray. I drilled the holes and riveted four platenuts in place. I mounted the EMS and VP-X and decided to connect the EMS sensor wiring to the module to see how much room I had for the VP-X wiring. For some reason, I decided to go ahead and tighten the connectors down on the EMS. When I did, I found that one of the connectors would not thread. I contacted Dynon and sent them some pictures. They said they would send me a new EMS and and an RMA to return the one I purchased. The ground plate still hadn't arrived, so I moved on to the the manifold pressure sensor. It looks out of level in the picture, but it's the camera angle. I mounted two platenuts to the rib and bolted the sensor on with AN3-11A bolts. I got an email from Joe advising that he had reviewed the first draft of my VP-X Load Planning Worksheet and was making some changes. I can't imagine trying to build a plane without a knowledgeable technical advisor. I don't know who will be more excited when this thing is done-me, Joe, or Joe's wife, Pam.
