Brief Description:  Forward Cabin

Not much accomplished tonight. I started to trim the Cabin Frame to fit the attach angles. Joe Tierney has a good picture in his 11-05-10 KitLog that shows the desired result. I marked the frame and then was too lazy to climb under the horizontal stab to get my Dremel tool. I tried to install the pushrod that connects the control sticks to the bellcrank. I couldn't get it to fit without removing one of the rod end bearings. I put it in place and reinstalled the rod end bearing. It looked like too much work to fiddle with the thin washers used as spacers so I left it for another time. I decided that I would cleco in the panel, sub-panel and ribs just for giggles. I then clecoed in the side covers that need to be final drilled, primed and blind riveted. Once those were in place, I was too lazy to fire up the air compressor and break out the angle drill. I tweaked my bandsaw blade the other day and have been pushing my luck with it ever since. Tonight, my luck ran out and it broke while cutting the angles on the F-644. Time to call it a night.
