Brief Description:  Seat Back Braces

I don't want to disassemble the aft fuselage yet as I want to drill the ELT and Strobe Powerpack mounts first. They have not yet arrived from Van's, so I moved on to something else-gotta keep making progress. I decided that I would work on the seat backs. The F-637B and F-637C are cut from aluminum angle. I could find only one scrap piece long enough from which to cut one of the braces. This left me seven braces short. I remembered that in addition to the two longeron angles that shipped with the wing kit, there were four additional lengths of angle. I searched high and low for my packing list for the wing kit to no avail. I must have put it away somewhere safe. After an hour or so, I called Joe and asked if that angle was needed for anything in particular. I did not want to cut long lengths into short pieces and then have to reorder long lengths and pay for shipping. Joe said that I was good to cut the lengths, so out came the hacksaw. I cut the braces and then used a vixen file to make a .040 notch in the F-637B. With as much as I pester Joe, I am not sure who will be most happy when this plane is finished-me, Joe, or Joe's wife so she and Joe don't have to answer my calls! Thanks Pam!
