Brief Description:  Left Aileron and Right Flap

First day back on the plane since Sun-N-Fun. We had a great time and I picked up a Snap -on torque wrench because I don't trust my Craftsman clicker. I picked up some things for the Cessna also. Unfortunately, I forgot to buy more primer from Stewart Systems as I realized when I began priming my aileron parts today.

I got the left aileron skin and braces primed before the rain arrived. I back-riveted the braces into place and everything looks good.

I moved on to flaps and constructed the spar doubler supports from the supplied sheet. I matched drilled them and then drilled out the holes for the AN3-4A bolts to #12. I clecoed everything together and match-drilled the skins to the spars and ribs. I seem to be missing one K1000-3 platenut for the doubler plates.

I need to order more primer from Aircraft Spruce so I can get everything primed and assembled.

Tonight, I hope Ginger will help rivet some more on the left wing top skins. I want to finish them up and get my Whelen Parmetheus Par 36 landing and taxi lights (also purchased at SnF) installed in the wings. I need to stop by the hangar and pick up my plastic cleaner for the lenses prior to installation.
