Brief Description: Left Leading Edge Landing Light Nutplates
I removed the two most outboard ribs from the left leading edge and used the landing light installation guides to mark the holes for the platenuts. I drilled them out and attached the platenuts to the outside of the two ribs using pulled rivets (the picture is of a right wing rib, but the left looks eerily similar!). I deburred the holes in the ribs and dimpled them with the squeezer. I removed the wing walk doubler from the right top skin where it was still taped on from the matchdrilling session. I removed the blue vinyl, finished the edges, deburred the holes and dimpled them with the squeezer and the DRDT-2. I ended the evening by finishing the edges of the remainder of the landing light installation parts.
